Not automatically Pankaj - there is a bit of a process there. Once you get a gift of property, you still need to change details in the Index II and 7/12 records. 7/12 has details of how the property has changed hands and Index II is like a certificate that shows the property to be in your name. You would need to submit an application at the sub-registrar office to make these updations in the records.
