I am buying a ready to move apartment in Bangalore so I am under the impression that GST is not applicable. But my builder is asking for it. Can someone please clarify?

You are absolutely right. GST is not applicable for ready to move properties. GST is applicable only for under construction properties. I am not sure why your builder is insisting on the same.
