There are 3 different ways in which a Power of Attorney (PoA) can be executed in Bangalore:
1.) Registration: In this case the PoA is registered in the Sub-Registrar's office in Bangalore. It is always advisable that the PoA be registered in case you want someone on your behalf to buy or sell a property.
2.) Notarization: An authorized Notary is supposed to do this. In case you want your family members to take care of rental agreements etc. a notarized power of attorney should be sufficient.
3.) Adjudication: Suppose you are living abroad and you want to give Power of Attorney to your relative in Bangalore then you will have to get the PoA adjudicated at the District Registrar of Stamps.
